Earlier in the evening, The Simpsons took 2.4m (1.0) and 2.6m (1.1) for its double bill from 8pm.
Big Brother was the night's most-watched show with 5.7m (1.7) for CBS.
However, the Tiffany Network's other programmes failed to appeal to many younger viewers, with 60 Minutes (6.8m/0.8) and The Good Wife (3.1m/0.4) sandwiched around the reality show.
A Mentalist repeat logged 4.2m (0.8) for CBS at 10pm.
Elsewhere, Dateline fell to 3.2m (0.8) on NBC at 8pm, after which a three-hour America's Got Talent catchup marathon entertained 3.1m (0.8).
Despite having the most new content, ABC was the lowest-rated network as Primetime Fall Preview Special (2.4m/0.4) and TV's Most Dynamic Duos (2.5m/0.5) both underperformed.
