The original Injustice - which aired on ITV1 last year - starred James Purefoy as troubled criminal barrister William Travers.
David Hudgins (Friday Night Lights) will write the US adaptation and also executive produce alongside Wolf. Anthony Horowitz - creator of the ITV show - will produce alongside Jill Green, who also worked on the original.
Wolf's latest project is NBC firefighter drama Chicago Fire, which premieres on the network on October 10.
