Published Wednesday, Dec 6 2006, 08:44 GMT | By James Welsh
The CW had its highest-rated week in its relatively short history last week, with a string of season highs pushing the fledgling network to best-ever numbers.
Gilmore Girls, America's Next Top Model, Veronica Mars, One Tree Hill, Smackdown and 7th Heaven all either set or matched ratings records in the week ending December 3.
The network is particularly pleased with its performance in its target 18-34 demographic compared with its WB and UPN predecessors; compared to The WB, The CW was up 64% on the same week last year.
