'Lost' shifts to new timeslot
Published Wednesday, Dec 6 2006, 08:51 GMT | By James Welsh

In its 9pm slot this Fall, the show frequently tussled with Criminal Minds on CBS for the number one timeslot ranking. With The Nine now axed and the 10pm slot open, ABC will put the cult hit up against CSI: NY on CBS and Medium on NBC. Moreover, it will dodge ratings powerhouse American Idol on Fox.
Lost's new lead-in will be an hour-long comedy block. The Knights of Prosperity, starring Donal Logue as a modern-day Robin Hood, will air at 9pm, followed by In Case of Emergency at 9:30, the latter show being about a group of old friends from high school who aren't thrilled at the way their lives have turned out.
