The finale of Rookie Blue jumped a massive 33% from last week's series low to a new rating of 1.2 (4.83m) at 9pm.
The Next was level with last week on The CW with 0.3 (0.63m) at 9pm.
The final night of the Democratic National Convention saw its biggest ratings on NBC at 9-11pm (2.5/8.03m). ABC achieved a peak of 1.0/3.67m, followed by CBS with 0.9/3.03m.
