Both Wiig and Samberg announced their departures from the longrunning sketch comedy show at the end of the last season, after both serving seven years as part of the ensemble cast.
"I miss it a lot," Samberg told E! at the premiere of his new animated film Hotel Transylvania.
He admitted that he isn't sure if he'll return for any guest cameos on the show, but didn't rule out future appearances.
"I hope so," he added. "That would be really fun."
Wiig, riding off the success of her critically acclaimed comedy Bridesmaids, also revealed that the adjustment has been "really hard".
Saturday Night Live is reportedly poised to sign two new cast members, Second City alumni Aidy Bryant and Tim Robinson.
