The NCIS: Los Angeles actor oversees the festivities at the annual concert on December 5 and will also help unveil nominees for all the top categories.
LL Cool J has hosted the concert since its inception in 2008 and also helmed the actual Grammy Awards for the very first time earlier this year.
Maroon 5 have been announced as the first official performers for the Grammy Nominations Concert, with more to come as the event nears.
This year's Grammy Nominations Concert is being moved from Los Angeles to Nashville in an attempt by organisers to add a new "flavour" to the broadcast.
The 2012 Grammy Nominations Concert Live airs on December 5 at 10/9c on CBS.
