Moore paid tribute to Tina Fey's impression of Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live, saying as part of her Emmys 'thank you cam' speech backstage: "Oh my gosh, you know what I forgot to do is to give a shout out to Tina Fey and Katie Couric because they had such an influence on the 2008 election, and I meant to thank them in my speech!"

The actress also talked about taking on the role of Palin, who was the Republican's vice-presidential candidate during the 2008 US election, in Game Change.

"I didn't really think about it. It all happened so fast... [but] I had a lot of trepidation. It was a big thing to take on," she said in an interview on the Emmys' website's live backstage feed.

"Going to work every day with this incredible group of people was so wonderful. They're so talented."

Moore's forthcoming projects include Don Jon's Addiction, Carrie and The Seventh Son.
