Americans consume media for nearly 10 hours a day, the US Census Bureau has revealed.
The Bureau, which based its data on industry research findings, included the finding in its annual Statistical Abstract document for 2007.
The data indicates that Americans watch TV for around 4.5 hours a day, with the other 5.5 being taken up by listening to the radio (2.5 hours), listening to music from other sources (30 minutes), reading newspapers, using the internet, and playing video games.
