Pre-game show Football Night in America took in ratings of 3.7 and 8.70m viewers at 8pm.
ABC's coverage of the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards scored a 3.9 18-49 demo rating, down on last year's 4.2. An average of 13.26m viewers tuned in from 8pm.
The Emmy's Red Carpet Live show brought in a rating of just 1.1 (5.63m) at 7pm.
CBS's 60 Minutes achieved a decent rating of 2.7 (12.64m) despite being up against the Emmys and the NFL game.
Fox's highest rating went to a repeat of Family Guy at 9.30pm, with a score of 1.9 (4.20m).
