Ricky Gervais appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night on NBC (September 26).
During their interview, the pair began to 'reminisce' about their so-called first big break in showbusiness, the short-lived Canadian soap opera Jacob's Patience.
The pair then performed a giggle-laden skit involving overly long fake arms and a fantastical pottery class.
Fallon joked that Gervais was particularly difficult to work with on the 'soap', due to his demand that everyone use the plastic arms instead of their own.
Gervais recently launched his new iPhone app named Just Sayin'.
Last month, Jimmy Fallon confirmed that he had turned down an offer to host next year's Academy Awards.
