Rob Lowe extends 'Brothers' stay

Rob Lowe's role in Brothers and Sisters has been extended through the rest of the show's freshman season.
Lowe joined the ABC show for a few episodes starting on November 19. He plays Senator Robert McCallister, a romantic interest for Calista Flockhart's Kitty Walker character.
The November 19 episode posted series highs among men 18-49 and men 25-54 and equalled previous highs in the overall adults 18-49 demographic.
