US version of 'Maria' has strong start

Grease: You're The One That I Want, the BBC Worldwide-produced American version of How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, has premiered with strong numbers on NBC.
Co-hosted by Denise van Outen and Access Hollywood's Billy Bush, the show is looking for the two leads in a new Broadway production of "Grease" opening in June.
The show's 90 minute premiere averaged 11.6m viewers in total and had a 10% share in the key adults 18-49 demographic. Those numbers represent NBC's best non-sports ratings in the show's timeslot for three years.
