'Heroes' creator talks upcoming twists
Heroes creator Tim Kring has revealed that another major death is coming before the first season is out.

Predictably, Kring refused to state exactly who would die but teased: "It'll be someone who was in the opening minutes of the pilot."

Meanwhile, he described the recent "de-gaying" of schoolkid Zach as an "unfortunate miscommunication".

"One of the problems with a show like this is that not everything is planned out months in advance," he told TV Guide. "You can't always plan which direction the characters are going to do in ... and [when you do], the character is already on screen and cast and playing his part."

Heroes returns from its midseason break in the US on January 22.
