Veteran reality producer Mark Burnett is returning to MTV - the channel where he made his name producing Eco-Challenge - to executive produce the 2007 MTV Movie Awards.
For the first time, the awards will air live, with Burnett promising that the TV coverage "will be more unscripted."
"Doing it live really lends itself to what MTV stands for," he explained. "It will let the stars have more fun."
He added: "I feel like I'm at home with MTV."
The 2007 MTV Movie Awards will air live on June 3 from Los Angeles.
