Fox chairman of entertainment Kevin Reilly said in a statement: "Ben and Kate and The Mindy Project have everything we want to stand for in comedy - smart writing, hugely appealing casts and comedy that feels contemporary and real - which is why we're confident they will continue to build on what is already an appointment comedy night for young, influential audiences on Tuesdays."

Ben and Kate follows overly responsible single mother Kate (Dakota Johnson), her laid-back brother Ben (The Descendants screenwriter Nat Faxon) and their friends, as they push each other out of their comfort zones and into real life.

Tomorrow's episode sees Ben and Kate stumbling across an unopened envelope from 15 years ago, containing details of the yearly scavenger hunt that their father used to organise for them.

The Mindy Project stars Mindy Kaling (The Office) as as Dr. Mindy Lahiri, a doctor attempting to balance her work and love life.

Tomorrow's episode - titled 'In the Club' - sees Mindy going to the hottest nightclub in town and meeting an unlikely suitor (guest star Tommy Dewey) who works as a lawyer for the New York Knicks.

Ben and Kate airs on Tuesdays at 8.30pm ET/PT, while The Mindy Project airs on Tuesdays at 9.30pm ET/PT.
