'Enders star to play 'The Bionic Woman'

Young British actress Michelle Ryan is play the title role in the upcoming US drama, The Bionic Woman.
Ryan previously played the part of Zoe Slater on the BBC soap Eastenders.
If aired, the programme, which has yet to film its pilot episode, will be shown on the American TV network NBC.
The series has been described by The Hollywood Reporter as a "re-imagination of the 1970s series".
Ryan will reportedly play the part of a woman who is transformed by the implantation of $50 million worth of bionic components into her body.
