Matt Bomer to make guest appearance on Ryan Murphy's 'The New Normal'

Matt Bomer is to appear on The New Normal, it has been reported.

The NBC comedy's showrunner Ryan Murphy broke the news on Twitter on Wednesday evening (October 10).

"Guess who's coming on The New Normal as Bryan's sexy ex-boyfriend? The one and only Matt Bomer!!!" Murphy wrote.

The White Collar actor also made a guest appearance during the third season of Murphy's comedy Glee, playing Blaine's older brother Cooper.

Bomer duetted on a rendition of Gotye and Kimbra's 'Somebody That I Used To Know' with Darren Criss on the Fox show.

The New Normal stars Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon) and Justin Bartha (The Hangover) as a successful couple who decide to have a baby with the help of surrogate Goldie (Georgia King).

The New Normal airs on Tuesdays at 9.30/8.30c on NBC.
