The Night of Too Many Stars was taped in New York City last weekend for an airing later this month and featured a performance by Katy Perry as well appearances by Jon Stewart and Jerry Seinfeld.
Stiller's Zoolander also made a surprise appearance to unveil his "Derek Zoolander the End of Syphilisation calendar", which he referred to as the "Maya Rudolph calendar", reports Page Six.
Zoolander also shared special dates from the calendar including "Black History Month, where we celebrate the colour black and how it makes you look super-skinny" and "Post Apocalyptic Yom Kippur".
His performance on The Night of Too Many Stars will air on Sunday, October 21 at 8/7c.
Stiller has worked on a potential sequel to 2001's cult classic Zoolander in recent years, but said in July that the script is "not quite coming together".
He also expressed hopes of returning to the project "in the future".
