ABC has ordered a pilot for a remake from Bill Lawrence - who also co-created Cougar Town - according to Deadline.
The BBC's Feel the Force was created by Georgia Pritchett and ran for a single series in 2006.
Lawrence is already developing a number of pilots this season, including I Suck at Girls - a coming-of-age tale based on the book by $#*! My Dad Says writer Justin Halpern.
In September, the writer/producer also claimed to be working on a Broadway musical based on Scrubs.
