Spartacus: War of the Damned will be the show's final season, to premiere on Friday, January 25.
However, the pay cable network is said to be developing a further series based around the Roman leader Julius Caesar, played by Australian actor Todd Lasance, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Spartacus showrunner Steven DeKnight has previously hinted at a possible spinoff series.
"In the halls of Starz, we often whisper about a spinoff," he told The Hollywood Reporter in June.
"We've set up a world that is just perfect to spin off into other areas during this time period.
"We are open to, down the road, revisiting this world, whether it's Julius Caesar, whether it's set in the same time period or whether it's a little later in the time period."

Former Home and Away actor Todd Lasance joins the cast as Caesar in the upcoming final season.
War of the Damned will see Spartacus (Liam McIntyre) leading more than 30,000 men in the aftermath of the Battle of Vesuvius, while drawing the ire of Rome in the process.
DeKnight is currently developing a sci-fi series called Incursion for Starz.
