The Big Bang Theory easily won the night in both categories, despite a drop of two tenths from its last airing to a 5.5 18-49 score (17.25 million) at 8pm.
Two and a Half Men dropped a tenth for its first episode since Angus T Jones's rant against the show. It fell to 4.0 (13.74m) at 8.30pm.
Person of Interest was down 6% to 2.9, but attracted a high of 14.43 million viewers at 9pm. Elementary dipped 4% to 2.2 (10.46m) at 10m.
Fox's The X Factor dropped 4% from last week to 2.7 (8.32m) at 8pm, while Glee climbed a big 47% from its Thanksgiving episode to 2.2 (5.39m) at 9pm.
On ABC, Last Resort's first episode since its cancellation was confirmed saw it suffer a 17% drop to a new series low of 1.0 (5.20m) at 8pm.
Grey's Anatomy almost fell to a season low, dropping a tenth to 3.1 (8.95m) at 9pm. Scandal climbed 10% to a season high of 2.2 (6.64m) at 10pm.
NBC's 30 Rock rose 8% from its last episode to 1.3 (3.61m) at 8pm, while Up All Night fell 8% to 1.2 (2.97m) at 8.30pm.
The Office tumbled 10% to a new series low of 1.9 (3.88m) at 9pm. Parks and Recreation also fell 18% to a series low of 1.4 (2.99m) at 9.30pm. Rock Centre also dropped 18% to 0.9 (3.45m) at 10pm.
The CW's Vampire Diaries rose over 15% to 1.4 (2.86m) at 8pm. Beauty and the Beast rose 30% to 0.6 (1.52m) at 9pm.
