Adam Levine slams 'Honey Boo Boo': 'It's complete f**king ignorance'

Adam Levine has slammed TLC's Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, describing the show as "complete f**king ignorance".

The Maroon 5 star criticised the show in an interview with GQ, claiming that the series is "the decay of Western civilisation".



"Just because so many people watch the show doesn't mean it's good," he said. "So many people witness atrocities and can't take their eyes away from them, but that doesn't mean they're good."

Levine added: "That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That's. Ever. Happened. It's complete f**king ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids."

The Voice coach went on to criticise the people involved in the show, saying: "F**k those people. You can put that in the magazine: F**k those idiots. They're just the worst.

"Sorry, I'm so sensitive to that - like, I don't know, man, it's upsetting. Just to clarify, I said, 'F**k those people'."

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which has been renewed for a second season, has picked up fans including Miley Cyrus and Rosie O'Donnell.
