Chris Rock joins The Concert for Sandy Relief line-up

Chris Rock is to appear on The Concert for Sandy Relief tonight (December 12).

Rock will be one of many celebrity presenters for the televised event along with Leonardo DiCaprio, Kristen Stewart, Adam Sandler and Sean 'P Diddy' Combs.

The Robin Hood Foundation is organising the Concert for Sandy Relief to benefit those affected by Hurricane Sandy across the East Coast of the US.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Bon Jovi, Coldplay, Eric Clapton, Kanye West and Roger Waters are all slated to perform.

The all-star musical line-up also includes Alicia Keys, Eddie Vedder, The Rolling Stones and The Who.

Sir Paul McCartney is also expected to debut a new song he wrote in collaboration with Nirvana's Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic.

AMC, G4, EPIX, Fuse, VH1 Classic, HBO, IFC and several other US channels will broadcast the event at 7.30pm ET, while MTV and VH1 are airing it in the UK.

The Concert for Sandy Relief is also being simulcast on AOL, Hulu, YouTube, Vevo, Yahoo and iHeartRadio
