Rascal Flatts, Phillip Phillips for CBS Home for the Holidays telethon

Rascal Flatts and American Idol's Phillip Phillips are to perform on CBS's A Home for the Holidays.

CBS is holding its annual telethon on Wednesday (December 19) to help raise awareness for childhood adoptions.



Matchbox Twenty and Melissa Etheridge are also slated to perform on A Home for the Holidays.

The X Factor USA's Rachel Crow will also share her personal story, having been adopted out of poverty when she was just a baby.

Crow's family will also receive a special award during the telecast.



This year's A Home for the Holidays is being organised by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Children's Action Network.

CBS airs A Home for the Holidays on Wednesday at 8/7c.
