Kardashian confirmed her pregnancy on New Year's Eve after her boyfriend Kanye West announced the news at a concert the night before.
Initial reports had suggested that the couple were not planning to allow cameras to film their child, although they were thought to be considering letting producers document the run-up to the birth.
However, a source at E! - home to the various Kardashian series - has now told The Hollywood Reporter that the network will "continue to cover all aspects of Kim's life as it always has".
The comment hints that the series will show Kardashian and West's baby on screen, while in a statement E! president Suzanne Kolb vowed to keep following the couple's relationship.
"Kim and Kanye are an incredibly dynamic couple, and their baby news is just so exciting," she said. "Like so many Kardashian fans, we love it when this close-knit family gets even bigger.
"We look forward to sharing the joy as they prepare for more diapers, more bottle and without a doubt, more fabulous baby wear."
West has already made several appearances in flagship series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, while Kourtney Kardashian's son Mason has been a fixture of the shows since his birth in December 2009.
The birth of Kourtney Kardashian's daughter, Penelope, was featured in the recent season finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in November.
The latest Kardashian series, Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, will premiere on E! on January 20.
