'Lost' TV executives reveal game tie-in
Two of the executive producers on TV show Lost have stated that a video game tie-in is being worked on at Ubi Soft's Montreal sudio and a release date is planned for later this year.

During a recent podcast, producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cruise confirmed the news and added that the game is in development for multiple formats.

Cruise was also asked if the game will out on Xbox 360 and he replied, "Not just for Xbox [360]; it'll also be PS3 and PC compatible."

He added, "We were sitting here with the guys that are making it, [who] actually are from Canada - Montreal. And they did a demo of some of the elements of it and it's really cool. It's actually going to be a pretty cool game."

Ubisoft first announced the acquisition of the Lost licence back in May 2006. The publisher also stated that tie-in games are in development for handheld consoles, but did not reveal which studio would be working on the project.

Ubisoft Montreal produced games in the hugely successful Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia series. The studio is also working on PS3 and Xbox 360 title Assassin's Creed, due out later this year.

Ubisoft said they were unable to comment on the reports.
