CBS announces 'Pirates' reality show

A new series from Survivor creator Mark Burnett will see contestants pretending to be pirates in the hope of finding some hidden treasure.
In Pirate Master, airing on CBS from May 31, sixteen contestants will live as bucaneers, travelling around the Caribbean island of Dominica on a 179ft square-rigged bargue.
Each week the pirates will embark on expeditions, deciphering clues in the pursuit of the loot, worth $1 million in total.
Like Survivor, one contestant will be eliminated - or, in pirate speak, "cut adrift" - from the competition.
"It's adventure, excitement and loads of treasure," said Burnett, who also produces The Apprentice and The Contender. "Anyone who ever wanted to be a pirate will love this show!"
