The special will feature an original song titled 'I Wish I Was A Powerpuff Girl' performed by Beatles legend Ringo Starr, according to a press release issued by the channel.

Starr will also voice a character named Fibonacci Sequins, who is described as "Townsville's most famous flamboyant mathematician".
The Powerpuff Girls aired on Cartoon Network from 1998 until 2005, and will return as a redesigned and re-imagined CG special.
The original voice cast - Cathy Cavadini (Blossom), Tara Strong (Bubbles) and Elizabeth Daily (Buttercup) - will also be reprising their roles.
