'Kroll Show' renewed for second season by Comedy Central

Comedy Central has renewed Kroll Show for a second season.

The sketch comedy series has been given a ten-episode order for season two, although it is not yet clear when Kroll Show's new instalments will air.

Kroll Show features comedian Nick Kroll playing a variety of zany characters such as aspiring record producer Bobby Bottleservice and Mexican DJ El Chupacabra.

Kroll reacted to the renewal on Twitter, writing: "Guys! #KrollShow has been picked up for Season 2! Thx to all for watching."

The comic enlisted famous friends Fred Armisen, Adam Pally, Ed Helms, Jason Mantzoukas, June Diane Raphael and Jon Daly to make appearances in the first season.

Comedy Central attracted over 1 million viewers with the premiere of Kroll Show on January 16.

Kroll Show continues airing its first season on Wednesdays at 10.30/9.30c.
