Veteran actress Carrie Fisher and X-Men producer Brett Ratner have joined the judging panel for Steven Spielberg's forthcoming movie reality series On The Lot.
In the series - dubbed a filmic version of American Idol - amateur filmmakers will compete for a $1 million development deal with DreamWorks through a familiar process of auditions, boot camp, weekly submissions and eliminations.
Fisher and Ratner will be joined on the panel by director-producers Garry Marshall (Pretty Woman) and Jon Avnet (Risky Business). The foursome will serve as jury for the audition stages of the show. Judges for the later stages - including the final rounds - have yet to be confirmed.
