BBC America lines up summer shows
Published Friday, Apr 27 2007, 12:36 BST | By James Welsh
BBC America has confirmed the summer premiere dates for The Innocence Project, Hex and Footballers' Wives.
The Innocence Project will air two episodes back-to-back on Thursday nights starting May 10. Eight episodes of the BBC Northern Ireland-BBC America co-production were made and no second series is planned after it failed to perform well in its recent run on BBC One. It followed a team of law students taking on controversial cases pro bono.
The latter half of the second series of Hex, presented as a second season on BBC America, will run on Saturday nights in an 8pm timeslot starting on June 2.
Footballers' Wives will start a new run on BBC America as the anchor show of the revamped channel's female-targeted Wednesday night lineup beginning June 6.
