Jonathan Rhys Meyers will play the iconic vampire in NBC/Sky Living's co-produced drama.
Jackson-Cohen will play the character of Jonathan Harker - here portrayed as a journalist desperate to become an aristocrat, Deadline reports.
He joins Merlin's Katie McGrath (Lucy Westenra), Arrow's Jessica de Gouw (Mina Murray) and Game of Thrones actor Nonso Anozie (Renfield).
Thomas Kretschmann (Wanted, The River) most recently signed up to Dracula and will play a dark, vengeful version of vampire hunter Van Helsing.
Jackson-Cohen, 26, currently stars opposite Jeremy Piven in ITV's Mr Selfridge, and previously appeared on Lark Rise to Candleford and in the films Faster (2010) and The Raven (2012).
Carnivàle creator Dan Knauf will serve as showrunner on Dracula - the ten-part drama will shoot in Budapest and air on NBC in the US and Sky Living in the UK.
