Susan Lyne has been appointed President of ABC Entertainment, and Stuart J. Bloomberg has stepped-down as Co-Chairman of the group.
Lloyd Braun, ABC Chairman, said of the appointment: “Susan is an enormous talent, as evidenced by the quality and success of our movies over the last several years. Her great taste, commercial instincts and clarity of vision will be of enormous value as we continue to rebuild ABC.???
Bloomberg, meanwhile, has spent more than 22 years with ABC, during which time he has developed shows such as Roseanne, Home Improvement, Grace Under Fire, NYPD Blue, The Drew Carey Show, Spin City, The Practice and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
“During his 22 years with ABC, Stu has made significant contributions, not only to our company, but to the television industry as a whole. He leaves behind a rich legacy,??? said Robert A. Iger, President of The Walt Disney Company.
