Crazy Ones follows a father and his daughter who work together in the advertising world.
James Wolk, who appeared opposite Sigourney Weaver in last year's Political Animals, is also part of the cast.
Gellar previously starred on The CW's Ringer, which was axed after one season.
Last year, Williams made guest appearances on Louie and Wilfred.
