Super Clyde - from Raising Hope creator Greg Garcia - is the story of a fast food worker (Grint) who decides to become a superhero.
Latest cast addition Labine previously starred in NBC's short-lived comedy Animal Practice - which airs on ITV2 in the UK - and also appeared on Reaper and Jason Biggs sitcom Mad Love.
Super Clyde will mark Grint's series television debut - the project is currently only at pilot stage but is in contention for a series pick-up at CBS.
Exec producer Garcia is also developing another comedy project at the network with Will Arnett (Arrested Development, Up All Night) attached to star.
