Tuesday ratings: 'NCIS: LA' rises, 'Golden Boy' premiere decent

CBS topped Tuesday night's preliminary ratings in both the 18-49 demographic and total viewers.

NCIS once again won the night overall, but fell a tenth from last week to 3.4 (20.48 million viewers) at 8pm.

NCIS: Los Angeles rose two tenths to 2.9 (16.81m) at 9pm. The premiere for Golden Boy fared well, achieving 1.8 (10.46m), which is three tenths up from last week's Vegas.

ABC's premiere of Celebrity Wife Swap scored a 2.4 (7.0m) rating at 8pm, up a tenth from last year's opener.

The Taste dropped two tenths to a series low of 1.4 (4.11m) at 9pm, while Body of Proof matched last week's series low 1.2 (6.31m) at 10pm.

Fox's Raising Hope levelled with last week's 1.5 (3.57m) at 8pm, while a second episode scored 1.4 (3.18m) at 8.30pm.

New Girl was up a tenth to 2.3 (4.29m) at 9pm. The Mindy Project matched last week's 1.6 (3.19m) at 9.30pm.

NBC's Betty White's Off Their Rockers was even with last week's 1.3 (4.54m) at 8pm. A second episode dropped a tenth to 1.3 (4.37m) at 8.30pm.

Go On matched last week's 1.1 (3.15m) at 9pm. The New Normal was up a tenth to 1.0 (2.62m) at 9.30pm. Smash matched last week's series low 0.9 (2.99m) at 10pm.

The CW's Hart of Dixie climbed a tenth to 0.6 (1.42m) at 8pm, while Cult was even with last week's premiere score of 0.3 (0.88m) at 9pm.
