Tony Blair has lined up his first TV interview in America since confirming the date on which he intends to stand down as leader of the Labour Party and Prime Minister.
Blair has granted exclusive access to 10 Downing Street to NBC News. NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams will air live from London at 6:30pm Eastern Tuesday night and feature an exclusive interview with Blair. Additional parts of the interview will air on Dateline NBC Sunday night at 7pm Eastern.
"As the only American television network granted an in-depth interview, NBC News has also gained exclusive behind-the-scenes access to 10 Downing Street in London during Blair's final days," the network said in a statement. Coverage will air on MSNBC, NBC's 24 hour cable news network.
