Supernatural
It's good news for teen drama One Tree Hill, which graduates to a fifth season; solid performer Smallville, which gets a seventh; and cult drama Supernatural, back for a third season.
Other pickups come for Girlfriends and freshman spinoff The Game, joining previously-renewed comedy Everybody Hates Chris for its third season.
New series orders came for Wild At Heart, a US version of the ITV1 original; teen angst drama Gossip Girls, from The O.C. guru Josh Schwartz; comedy Aliens In America, about a Pakistani teen who goes to live in the US; and Reaper, a comedy drama about the devil's young bounty hunter.
All this adds to bad vibes for Veronica Mars, which is now considered a long shot for a revamped fourth season. Definitely on the scrapheap is the Will Smith-produced comedy All Of Us, which won't be back for a fifth outing.
