Sunday ratings: The Simpsons up, Once Upon a Time drops

Fox was the top network among adults 18-49, but NBC attracted the most viewers, according to preliminary Sunday night (December 15) ratings.

The Simpsons kicked off primetime on the network with a score of 3.5 (8.38 million), up four tenths on last week's 3.1. Bob's Burgers followed with 2.4 (5.53m) at 8.30pm.

Family Guy was up three tenths on last week with 3.0 (6.27m) at 9pm and American Dad! rose to 2.4 (4.94m) at 9.30pm.

Over on NBC, Football Night in America and the pre-kick was down half a point from last week, scoring a 4.0 from the key demographic and gathering 12.65m viewers, leading into Sunday Night Football, which dropped from 6.0 to 4.9 this week, with 14.56m viewers between 8.30pm and 11pm.

On CBS, the two-hour season finale of Survivor: Blood vs Water between 8pm and 10pm earned a 2.6 (10.17m) in the key demographic, up one tenth from last Wednesday's episode. However, the finale was down from the 3.2 that last year's fall finale recorded.

The Survivor: Blood vs Water reunion special earned a 1.9 (7.70m) 18-49 rating at 10pm.

On ABC, Once Upon a Time earned 1.9 (6.40m), down two tenths from last week's 2.1 at 8pm. Revenge dropped one tenth to 1.5 (6.10m) at 9pm. Betrayal scored 0.8 (3.70m), rising one tenth from last week's series low of 0.7 at 10pm.

The start of CBS prime was delayed in several eastern and central time zones due to NFL football overruns. Ratings are tentative and subject to change
