Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas has become the new showrunner on ABC's midseason comedy Miss/Guided.
E!'s Kristin Veitch revealed the news one day after it became clear that Veronica Mars will definitely not be picked up for a fourth season by The CW.
Miss/Guided will star Judy Greer as a guidance counsellor who returns to work at her old high school.
Thomas also revealed that he is in discussions with DC Comics about a possible comic book-based continuation of Veronica Mars.
