Jimmy Kimmel will return to hosting duties on his ABC late night show today after an emergency appendectomy last Wednesday.
Kimmel was released from hospital the day after the procedure and was reported to be back in the office last Friday.
"I am doing fine," he told Broadcasting & Cable. "Just the fact it is called an appendix is all you should need to know. They took it out and they threw it into the ocean."
