Jason Dohring, who played the role of Veronica Mars' boyfriend Logan on the now-cancelled CW drama, has joined the cast of Moonlight.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dohring will play the role of ancient vampire Josef in the supernatural CBS series, which is produced by Mars' Warner Bros and Silver Pictures.
The choice of Dohring for the role represents a change in the concept of the Josef character; in the pilot, the vampire was played by Rade Serbedzija, who is 60 years old. Dohring is 25.
