Ten new characters for US 'Little Britain'

Little Britain stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams are in the process of creating ten new characters for the US version of the show.

Last month, the comedians announced the details of the new six-part series, which will air on the HBO network. They start filming in the autumn and also plan to introduce old favourites from the UK show to the American audience.

Asked about the new characters, Lucas told The Sun: "They range from the nice to the really gruesome - and we're having a ball inventing them."
