Anna Nicole judge shoots TV pilot

Larry Seidlin, the judge in charge of the Anna Nicole Smith body custody hearings, is to shoot a pilot for his own television show.
NBC's Access Hollywood reported that Seidlin - better known as "Sideshow Seidlin" after his quips and tearful verdict dominated news coverage of the case - has signed with CBS Paramount to produce the pilot. Back in February, it was claimed by TMZ that Seidlin's antics were aimed at securing him a television show along the lines of Judge Judy.
Seidlin will retire from his position as a Florida State Court judge on July 31 to "pursue... many opportunities."
