BBC's flagship US newscast names producers

The production team for the BBC's upcoming flagship US newscast has been announced by executive producer Rome Hartman.
Claudia Milne, previously the Washington-based producer for BBC Two's Newsnight, has been appointed senior broadcast producer based in the American capital. Nicky Goldberg, currently a senior broadcast journalist for BBC World, will become senior broadcast producer in London.
Iva Zoric, who has worked on nightly public service interview programme Charlie Rose for 10 years, has been appointed senior producer. Sarah Robbins, currently a London-based Newsnight producer, is relocating to Washington as senior producer for planning.
Bob Sharpe will hop the pond to become lead director on the broadcast, while rounding out the production team are NewsHour's Brian Gottlieb and Channel One's Kathryn Farrell. Meghan Gourley, most recently White House independent pool coordinator for C-SPAN, will be an associate producer.
"We’ve assembled an immensely talented team, bringing a wealth of experience, contacts and editorial savvy," said Hartman. "Their skills, combined with the BBC’s unrivaled international coverage, promise to be an exciting mix. We look forward to bringing the U.S. a fresh perspective which is smart, savvy and sophisticated."
The nightly newscast will go out at 7pm on BBC America and BBC World from the Autumn.
