'Good Morning America' / ABC
Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron and reigning champion Apolo Anton Ohno made the announcement on ABC's Good Morning America.
Competing with Mel B will be Jane Seymour, Marie Osmond, Wayne Newton, Floyd Mayweather, Helio Castroneves, 90210's Jennie Garth, All My Children alum Cameron Mathison, model Albert Reed, The Cheetah Girls' Sabrina Bryan, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, and Josie Maran.
Explaining why she signed up to the show, Jane Seymour told GMA: "My mum's very ill in England and this turns out to be her favourite show ever... I just couldn't give up learning something new at this point in my life from the best in the business."
"It's incredible family television and a dream come true," she added.
The new season will kick off with three opening shows: the Monday night will see the all-men performance, the women on Tuesday night, and the first elimination on the Wednesday. Dolly Parton has been lined up for the first musical guest spot, with Avril Lavigne and Gloria Estefan appearing later in the show's run.
Dancing with the Stars season five kicks off on September 24.
