USA has ordered a second series of The Starter Wife.
A mini-series aired earlier this year earning 5.4 million viewers for its premiere and winning 10 Emmy nominations.
Now Jeff Wachtel, executive vice president of original programming, has announced 10 new episodes have been purchased.
Star Debra Messing will return along with writers Gigi Levangie Grazer, Josann McGibbon and Sara Parriott.
Wachtel said: "The Starter Wife was a major cultural event and an out-of-the-park home run for us.
"We're thrilled to reunite Debra, Josie, Sara and Gigi - the world-class team of star and writers who were responsible for its success."
Messing won an Emmy nomination for her Molly Kagan role. The character had to forge a new life after divorcing a Hollywood studio boss.
