ABC in New York gets new president

Rebecca Campbell has been made president and general manager of WABC-TV - the broadcaster's flagship channel in the biggest US market.
She previously held the same position at ABC's owned and operated station in Philadelphia, WPVI-TV.
ABC Television Stations Group president Walter Liss announced: "Rebecca Campbell has done a sensational job as president and general manager at WPVI-TV in Philadelphia.
"Her outstanding leadership skills and knowledge of the business make her ideally suited for the top post at WABC-TV in New York."
She succeeds David Davis who was promoted to executive vice president of ABC News.
