Fox has given a put pilot order for an American version of Channel 4's Spaced.

The quirky sitcom had two UK runs in 1999 and 2001. It will be brought to the US by Granada and The O.C. producers Wonderland Sound and Vision, who have signed up The New Adventures of Old Christine executive producer Adam Barr to adapt the series.

Variety reports that the roles of original creators Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright are not yet known.
